Our Impacts
Our Programs Have Impacted Over 1000 Children In Kibera Slums
Mindcheck Mashinani (Mental Health)

In March 2024, Kuza Kipaji successfully hosted MindCheck Mashinani in Kibera, reaching over 150 youth with activities focused on raising awareness about teenage mental health. Through dance, interactive games, and mindfulness exercises, the event created a safe space for young people to learn, express themselves, and build mental resilience. This initiative reflects our commitment to supporting both the creative and emotional well-being of the community’s youth.
Dance Reachout

Kuza Kipaji’s Community Dance Outreach uses dance as a powerful tool to educate children in informal settlements about social vices affecting their lives, such as drug abuse, early pregnancy, and violence. Through engaging performances and interactive sessions, we raise awareness and inspire positive choices, fostering resilience and hope among vulnerable youth. This approach combines creativity with education to support healthier, safer communities.

Here’s a revised statement incorporating the theme:
On the International Day for the Eradication of Poverty 2024, themed “Solutions to eradicate poverty must respect the rights of the poor,” Kuza Kipaji partnered with Tapori Kenya and ATD Fourth World to host an event focused on children. Through creative arts, storytelling, and interactive activities, we highlighted the importance of respecting children’s rights in poverty eradication efforts and empowered them to express their experiences and aspirations. This collaboration reinforced our commitment to advocating for the dignity and rights of vulnerable children in our community.
